Who Are We?
JKG Transportation (JKGT) is locally owned and operated by retired military veteran Jerrold Greenwood and his wife Keneisha Greenwood.
Our mission is to provide a reliable transportation experience while delivering extraordinary customer service. We also offer a personal concierge service for seniors, ensuring each journey is comfortable, safe, and tailored to their unique needs.
Located in Batesville, MS, JKGT provides a much-needed transportation service to our community. We believe that reliable transportation is not only a basic need but also basic care we provide for residents in our community. Our business model is to focus on the whole person when providing transportation and other services. It is important for those needing assistance to receive solid social, emotional, and physical interaction when transporting them from one destination to the next. We will ensure that we hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards by meeting our client’s needs precisely and completely.

Hospital closures in Mississippi has increased. Which means the demand for reliable non-emergency medical transportation has increased as well. Close to a third of Mississippi’s rural hospitals are still at risk of closure, and over a half of those are at risk of immediate closure. Mississippi and Tennessee are tied for fifth place. In both states, 27% of overall rural hospitals are at risk of immediate closure.
The map shows where our Level 1 - 3 Stroke Trauma Centers are located in MS. JKG transportation will remain in our communities to ensure our families have reliable transportation to and from appointments. If adequate medical care is no longer in our communities, we must get them to where the care is.
Our most vulnerable population has always had a special place in our heart. We are here for you!
